It will be remembered that at the Passover, first instituted in Exod. xii., a change was made in the calendar, and Abib became “the beginning of the months”. The seventh month, therefore, and the twelfth month of the respective reckonings would overlap, and so, for the pupose of typical teaching, Israel’s year is limited to the first seven months, the remaining months being allowed to run their course unnoticed.
The sabbatic principle
The sabbatic principle is not confined to the written revelation of God. It is found throughout the works of His hand. All are familiar with the seven-hued rainbow, and most know that the diatonic musical scale there are seven notes, the sequence being repeated at the eight or octave. Turning to the observations of men of science we may mention the periodic law of the elements. Sir William Crookes said of this law: –
- I am convinced that whoever grasps the key tot the periodic law will permitted to unlock some of the deepest mysteries of creation.”
Dr. E.J. Pace, in his book The Law of Octave, shows by a series of diagrams, too complicated to describe and perhaps unnecessary so far as we are concerned, that the elements composing the universe all obey this law of the seven sequence. Dr. Bullinger’s Number in Scripture will supply futher information of interest. We are, however, more concerned with the number seven in the typical and dispensational foreshadowings of Scripture. We find that there are seven features, developed in an orderly sequence – a seven of days, a seven of weeks, a seven of months, a seven of years, a seven times seven of years, a seven times seventy of years, and a period of seven times.
- 7 days. “Remember the Sabbath day” (Exod. xx. 8-11).
- 7 weeks. “Seven Sabbaths shall be completed” (Lev. xxiii. 15).
- 7 months. “In the seventh month – a Sabbath” (Lev. xxiii. 24).
- 7 years. “In the seventh year – a Sabbath” (Lev. xxv. 2-5).
- 7 x 7 years. “Seven times seven years – Jubile” (Lev. xxv. 8-10).
- 7 x 70 years. “Seventy weeks are determined” (Dan. ix. 24-27).
- 7 times. “Punish seven times for sins” (Lev. xxvi. 24;Dan. iv. 16).
Here we have orderly and regular progression.
The only passages that may be questioned in this series are Dan. ix. and Lev. xxvi. That Dan. ix. implies a period of years we show in the series dealing with Daniel’s prophecy. That the term “times” is prophetic of a period we discover by studying its usage in Daniel. Lev. xxvi. 33, 34 suggests that the “seven times” of Israel’s punishment is co-extensive with the period of Gentile dominion (the seven times of Nebuchadnezzar’s madness). These questions are dealt with more extensively in the series on Daniel. It is sufficient for our present purpose that we recognise this sabbatical principle at work.
This series of sevens leads up to the octave, the new beginning, the new heaven and earth “wherein dwelleth righteousness.” So shall we find the seventh feast of the year expanded, and prominence given to one part of it – “the eight day” (Lev. xxiii. 39). In this last phase we see, in type, Israel’s wonderful restoration – the steps leading up to it being set out, as we shall see, in strictly historical order.
The feasts mentioned in Lev. xxiii. are the following: …
- The weekly Sabbath
- Unleavened Bread
- Day of Atonement
- The Eighth Day of the Feast
Their interrelation may be demonstrated as follows: –
The feasts of the Lord:
A – THE WEEKLY SABBATH (xxiii. 1-3). B – PASSOVER. Redemption by blood of Lamb (xxiii. 5-8). THE FIRST-FRUITS. C – UNLEAVENED BREAD. The present attitude (xxiii. 9-14). D – PENTECOST. The end of the first harvest (xxiii. 15-21). The uniting of the nation. The Jubilee anticipated. References to the Holy Spirit. Provisions for the stranger (xxiii. 22, 23). Interval of Israel’s blindness. Israel’s regathering inaugurated by …
A– THE BLOWING OF TRUMPETS (xxiii. 24, 25). B– THE DAY OF ATONEMENT. Atonement by blood (xxiii. 27-32). Israel “the second time”. C– TABERNACLES (xxiii. 34-38). D– THE INGATHERING (The sunteleia) (xxiii. 39-44). THE EIGHT DAY OF THE AGE. References to Holy Spirit.
In the series dealing with the Second Coming of Christ, the expression, “The sunteleia of the age”, used by the disciples in Matt. xxiv. 3, is shown to correspond to the feast of ingathering. Three of these feasts have been fulfilled; four await fulfilment. And just as those that have been fulfilled have been fulfilled literally and in historic sequence, so we may confidently expect the remainder to be fulfilled in the same way when the appointed time comes.
No reader of the four Gospels, who is taught of God, can fail to see that Christ Himself was the true Passover Lamb. He was the Lamb of God (John 1.9; Exod. xii. 3-5). He was without spot or blemish (Heb. ix. 14; 1 Pet. 1. 19; Exod. xxii. 5). And He was most severely scrutinized as was the passover lamb from the 10th to the 14 the day of the month (Luke xxiii. 4, 15, 22, 41, 47).
The passover was slain “between the two evenings”, and Lev. xxiii. 32 makes it clear that a day began and ended with an evening – “from even unto even”. It was therefore possible for the Lord to partake of the passover lamb and Himself be offered upon the 14th Nissan – an impossibility had the Jewish day begun at midnight.
1 Cor. v. 7 makes it perfectly clear that Christ fulfilled the great type of the passover: “For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us”. And the typical meaning of the feast of unleavened bread was entered into by the believer: “Therefore let us keep the feast … with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth” (1 Cor. v. 8). Pentecost, too, was fulfilled to the exact day, as Acts ii. demonstrates.
It is interesting to see that the feasts of Israel are all recognised in the epistle to the Corinthians: –
- PASSOVER. – “Christ our Passover” (1 Cor. v. 7).
- FEAST OF WEEKS. – “Let us keep the feast” (1 Cor. v. 8). “On the first of the Sabbats” (1 Cor. xvi. 2).
- THE FIRST-FRUITS. – “Christ the First-fruits” (1 Cor. xv. 23).
- PENTECOST. – “I will tarry … unto Pentecost” (1 Cor. xvi. 8).
After Pentecost comes the long interval which spans the whole of the period from Israel’s rejection to the sounding of the trumpet that ushers in the day of their ingathering. One critic has objected to the statement made by the writer that the parable of the sower covers the whole time period from the day of the Lord’s earthly ministry to the future day of the Lord, on the ground that this would include the dispensation of the mystery. But we must realise that if Matt. xiii. or Dan. ix. or any other prophecies leap over the present interval, they must necessarily include the actual period now occupied by the manifestation of the mystery. These prophecies, however, contain no indication of the revelation to be made known during this uncharted period. So, while it is true that the dispensation of the mystery was never a subject of O.T. prophecy, we can nevertheless see, now that the revelation has been made, that the gap between Pentecost and the seventh month leaves provision for the present dispensation. The rest of the dispensational purpose as foreshadowed in Israel’s ceremonial year will be fulfilled as surely as were the four feasts from Passover to Pentecost.
- “He shall send His angels with great sound of a trumpet, and shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other” (Matt. xxiv. 31).
- “We shall be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump” (1 Cor. xv. 51,52).
- “For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God” (1 Thess. iv. 16).
- “In the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as He hath declared to His servants the prophets” (Rev. x. 7).
Day of atonement
- “Ye shall afflict your souls” (Lev. xxiii. 27).
- “I will pour upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and supplications; and they shall look upon Me Whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourneth for his only son … the land shall mourn, every family apart” (Zech. xii. 10-14).
- “Behold He cometh with the clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him, and all the tribes of the land shall wail because of Him” (Rev. i. 7).
- “Christ has … entered into heaven itself … and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation” (Heb. ix. 24-28).
- “I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. In that day, saith the Lord of Hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree” (Zech. iii. 9, 10).
- “They shall beat their swords into ploughshares … they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid” (Mich. iv. 3, 4).
- “I will go up to the land of unwalled villages, I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates … ” (Ezek. xxxviii., xxxix.).
- “The feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field” (Exod. xxii. 16).
- The LXX here reads: “the sunteleia” where the A.V. reads: “the feast of the ingathering”. This is referred to by the disciples in Matt. xxiv.: “Tell us when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of Thy coming, and of the sunteleia of the age?”
The Eightht Day of the Feast
- “In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto Me and drink. He that believeth on Me, as the Scripture hath said, out of His belly shall flow rivers of living waters. But this He spake of the Spirit” (John vii. 37-39).
There is a reference here to several prophecies, such as Ezek. xlvii. The last feast is therefore parallel with Pentecost and an expansion of it. What Pentecost foreshadowed was not the church of the mystery, but the ingatering of Israel and the pouring out upon them of the Spirit as a life-giving stream. Here, therefore, given to the people of type and shadow, was a sacred calendar, a period of seven months in which was foreshadowed, so far as the earthly side was concerned, the unfolding purpose of the age.
The creation week, with its six days of work and one of rest, the fact that Heb. iv. 9 speaks of the rest of Sabbath keeping for the people of God, the fact that the sabbatic principle underlies the whole scheme, lends colour to the Rabbinical view that the ages will conform to the same principles. The Rabbis taught that the world was two thousand years without the law, two thousand years under the law, and two thousand years under the Messiah. The Revelation tells us of the thousand years of glory at the close. The world draws near to the end of its sixth day.
It is good and sensible to attempt the computation of the time of the end, for at least one reason such as the prophet Daniel has said …
- “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased” (Dan. xii:3-4).
- “He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times? (Matt. 16:3-4).
The church of the mystery finds no exposition in Leviticus; its hope is entirely separated from the hope of Israel!
The ‘prison epistles’ – those where Paul speaks of his prison status, carry the truth of a new revelation and a new dispensation (Eph. 3:3, 2). It is essential that the Bible reader has already encoutered the apostle Paul in those epistles written during his missionary journeys, or as we sometimes say ‘the first seven epistles’.
The book of Acts cannot be said to be a ‘gospel’ as Matthew, Mark, Luke and John wrote, nor an epistle to any specific church or person as Romans or Titus. Yet, from Acts 13 to 28 the records there revolve around the apostle Paul and his epistles, written during the Acts period; these are congruous with the message or ministry; i.e. ‘saying none other things than those which Moses and the Prophets did say should come’, (Acts 26:22, 23); ‘Suffer’; ‘light to the Gentiles’ (Isa. 49:6).
[There are eight references to the kingdom in the Acts, see: 1:3, 6; 8:12; 14:22; 19:8; 20:25; 28:23, 31]
Neither of these truths are ‘New Testament revelation’ as such; BUT; ‘Ephesians’ thruth, requiring as it does, some understanding of ‘gospel truths’, nonetheless is new to the New Testament, and no effort to make Christianity understandable’ must blur pain words of Paul i.e. ‘revelation’and ‘dispensation’.
Let us be bold to realise that Paul moved from the ‘none other things’ to a postition of endeavouring ‘to make all men see’, (Eph. 3:8, 9) something which had been hid from ages and from generations (Col. 1:26).

Daniel’s Prayer … to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince!
Judah had endured captivity for seventy long years. Daniel had been sixteen years of age when the mighty Nebuchadnezzar had destroyed Israel’s army, and taken into Babylon Jehoiakim, the king of Judah, and the flower of his people.
In the year 426 B.C., Cyrus, or Darius the Median of Persia, conquered Babylon and slew Belshaszzar, and Daniel would then have been in his eighty-seventh year. It was to become a momentous year in the history of Israel, for God had raised up the Persian king to fulfil His purpose concerning His people. We read of this in the opening chapter of Ezra: …
- Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying: … Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and He hath charged me to build Him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah’ (Ezra 1:1,2).
Before this was known by Daniel, however, we find in verses 1 and 2 of chapter 9 that he read in the prophecy of Jeremiah and came to understand that the captivity was to last for seventy years, not from when he was captured, but as from the complete destruction of Jerusalem. This took place some twenty years later when Zedekaih rebelled against Nebuchadnezzar, who then finally razed the city to the ground, and completely destroyed the temple. The words in Jeremiah’s prophecy that Daniel would read include chapters 25:10-13 and 29:10-14. As a result of his understanding of the prophecy of Jeremiah, Daniel prayed to the Lord God of Israel, which is recorded in verses 3-19 of this chapter.
Daniel’s prayer centres on the fact that Israel’s terrible desolation is the outcome of rebellion against the Word of God, sent from time to time through the prophets. It is but the fulfilment of the curse and the oath written in the Law of Moses. God evidently keeps His word, and Israel have most surely merited their punishment. Yet Daniel reminds the Lord of the mercy He showed to their fathers when He brought them out from the bondage of Egypt, and gave them, as he puts it, ‘Thy city Jerusalem, Thy holy mountain’ (verse 16). God was true to His covenant promises, even though Israel had failed.
There is a beautiful progression in this prayer, and see how Daniel, although remaining absolutely faitful himself both in manner of life and witness in service, associates himself with the idolatrous nation of Israel. ‘We have sinned …’ in verse 5: ‘Neither have we hearkened …’ in verse 6: ‘… unto us …’ in verses 7 and “8: ‘all Israel near and far’ in verse 7: (and so right down to verse 16).
Not until verse 10 is there any link established between Jehovah and His people, then in verse 15 a fuller claim is made: ‘This rebellious people’ become ‘Thy people‘. In vers 16 ‘the desolation city’ becomes ‘Thy city‘, ‘Thy holy mountain‘; in verse 17, ‘Thy sanctuary‘. Then it all comes pouring out, reserve is abandoned, and before this covenant-keeping God, Daniel pours out this petition in verses 18 and 19: …
- ‘O my God, incline Thine ear, and hear; … O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not …’.
He throws himself and the people upon the mercies and forgiveness of God, remembering those gracious words recorded in Jeremiah chapter 31, verses 28 and 31-40. So Daniel based his prayer solely on covenant grace, and how swiftly God answers him. Look at verses 20 to 23:
- ‘And wiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God; … Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding … At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.’
What a wonderful thing to say about a man – ‘thou art greatly beloved’! Abraham was called ‘the friend of God’; David ‘a man after God’s own heart’, and now Daniel – ‘greatly beloved’. What a gracious God we have to speak such words of sinful human beings! ‘God so loved the world’, that is men and women who live in it, ‘that He gave His only begotten Son …’. That is our God. Can we ever plumb the depth of His love, or the abundance of His grace?
Daniel was then given understanding of what follows:
- ‘Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon the thy holy city, to finish the transgression … and to anoint the most Holy’ (verse 24).
If we understand the word ‘week’ in this verse to mean seven days, we have a period of one year and a little over four months are ‘determined’, or ‘cut off’, that is divided off from all other years, ‘upon my people’, this nation of Israel, ‘and upon thy holy city’, Jerusalem. If seven days had been intended, however, Daniel would have used the same word as he did in the next chapter 10, verses 2 and 3 – ‘I Daniel was mourning three full weeks’ (literally week of days) … ’till three whole weeks were fulfilled’ (again weeks of days).
As we have seen, Daniel had come to know from the prophecy of Jeremiah that the captivity would be ended in seventy years after the destruction of Jerusalem in 477 B.C. when king Zedekiah was deported and taken to Babylon by Nebuchadnezzar. The revelation given to Daniel, however, was that ‘from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and sixty-two weeks’ (verse 25). Then we read ‘And after sixty-two weeks shall Messiah be cut off …’. We know that our Lord was crucified in A.D. (29) 30 (reset), and we also know the date when the commandment to restore and build Jerusalem was given. We find this in the Book of Nehemia 2:1-6.
Nehemiah was one of the princes of Judah who had been taken into captivity by Nebuchadnezzar, but now held the responsible position of cup-bearer to the mighty Artaxerxes, the king of Perisa, in the palace of Shushan. This name was merely a title. He was Astyages who married Esther, whose son was Cyrus. The twentieth year of his reign was 454 B.C., but at this time, Jerusalem was still desolate, the bulk of the nation still in captivity, and the temple in ruins.
Now God’s prophetic clock does not commense to tick until His people Israel are in covenant relationship with Him. While they are in believe or (unbelief?), as they are today, and as they were during their captivity in Babylon and Persia, God’s prophetic times as soon as possible in the last 3 weeks, are not yet in operation! Thus not until the people are back in their land (1948), and Jerusalem rebuilt (1967), and the temple ready for the presence of the Lord, symbolised by the cherubim and the mercy seat in the holy of holies, can we reckon God’s prophetic times. These conditions fulfilled in 405 B.C. The cutting off of the Messiah took place in 30 A.D., which is four hundred and thirty-four years from 405 B.C. This represents sixty-two sevens, or 62 x 7 years, and therefore the word ‘weeks’ in Daniel 9:25,26 and 27 must mean weeks of seven years.
In A.D. 30 Israel did not become ‘lo ammi’ – not My people – after crucifying their Messiah, for they were, in the mercy of God, given a second chance during the Books of the Acts. This covered a period of thirty-five (35) years, or 5 x 7 of years. 62 + 5 are sixty-seven, so there are still 3 x 7 of years to run their cours before Christ returns, rescues his people Israel from their foes, and sets up His kingdom on the earth. As we read in verse 27, the final seven years are divided into two. For three and a half years the world will know peace and plenty, but then Satan’s world dictator will show his hand. He will cause ‘the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate’. This, as we have read in Daniel 8:9-14, is the little horn that waxes great and magnifies himself against God, His temple, and His sanctuary.
- ‘How long shall be the vision concernig the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed’ (Dan. 8:13,14).
Satan’s king breaks his word with the people of Israel, and attemps to blot out all signs and evidences of Israel’s God. Some authorities of the Hebrew text suggest that ‘AL KANAPH‘ translated ‘overspreading’ in verse 27, could read ‘AL KANNO‘, ‘in its stead’. We would then read, ‘He shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and in its stead shall stand in the holy place the abomination that maketh desolate‘. When the disciples asked the Lord privately: ‘What shall be the sign of Thy coming, and of the end of the world (age – aioon)?’, He answers by quoting from the prophet Daniel in Matthew 24:15-31: ‘When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place …’. Paul too has this to say in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2: …
- ‘Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition’ … Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he has as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God’ (verses 3,4).
This blasphemy and wicked opposition lasts for a period of three and a half years, as is confirmed in the Book of Revelation 13:5: …
- ‘And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months’.
(by N.J. DREDGE – The Berean Expositor – London – May 1996 Vol.58 No.9)
Brandpunt Jeruzalem de eeuwen door n.a.v. Ezechiel 4:1-6 …
In Lucas 21:24 lezen we: …
(Lev. 25:8-10; Ps. 2:8, 72:8; Openb. 5:1-14, 6:1-2).

What Time is it? … ‘that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in‘ (Rom. 11:25), … The question to ask then, is, “Do we know when the time of the fullness of the Gentiles will be?” The answer is, “YES!”
In Lukas [Luke 21:24], we read that Jerusalem will be trampled down by the Gentiles [Goyim] until the age of the Gentiles has run its course.
We know that since the Babylonian captivity, Jerusalem has been under Gentile rule, with the exception of the Hashmona’im Period (140-37 BCE). It was only in 1967, during Israel’s Six Day War, that all of Jerusalem was, for the first time in almost 2,000 years, returned into the hands of the Jews, as the true descendants of the tribe of Yehudah [Juda]. Jerusalem is the capital of Israel for this reason.
So, it can be deduced that since 1967, the time of the Gentiles, at least as far as Jerusalem is concerned, has now ended. There may very well be a yet-future period, in which foreigners will once again control Jerusalem. But for now, it appears that the longest period in history, during which the nations had possession and control of the Eternal city, has ended.
The evidence of this is that since 1967, the nations have in fact been unwilling to recognize Israel’s sovereignty over its declared capital. To date the United States has yet to house its embassy in Jerusalem. The nations also continue to mobilize and fight for the right to keep on trampling on Jerusalem as if it were theirs. The demand for a building freeze in the Jewish suburbs of Jerusalem in 2010 till now in 2014 is just one example. What nation on the face of the earth, allows other nations to determine if, how and when they can build homes for their residents?
Interestingly enough, right after the 6-day war of 1967, and in the early 70’s, the phenomenon of significant numbers of Jews who embraced Yeshua [Jezus], reemerged onto the global “religious” scene, and in Jerusalem in particular, some 1,900 years after the disappearance of the Evyonim (Ebionites). They were the earliest known “Messianic” Torah Observant Jews, who lived during the first part of the 2e century.

Blood moons coming to the world!
A blood moon is another name for a total lunar eclipse where the moon turns blood red. According to NASA, there are around 3,500 total lunar eclipses over a 5,000-year time period. That comes to one about 1.5. years. Well, now there will be four over the next 1.5 years (2014-2015)! What are those odds? And what are the odds those four also will fall on the biblical Feast days! Well, that has only happened eight times over the last 2,000 years! Now let’s ask, what are the changes that the last one will be seen in Israel on the Feast of Tabernacles when the Jewish people will be outside in their sukkahs (booths) looking up at the heavens? Let’s keep increasing the odds. The moon orbits the earth once a month. Because its path is elliptical, sometimes it is far away and other times it is close. When it is at its closest point to the earth it is called being at perigee. When the moon is at perigee and it is a full moon, it is known as a supermoon and it appears 14% larger. It just so happens that this final blood moon, seen in Israel on the Feast of Tabernacles, is a super blood moon that is not only at perigee for the month but is at its closest point for the entire year! So while all of Israel will be outside on the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) in 2015, there will be a super blood moon auspiciously hanging over the town Jerusalem and the nation Israel!
In the book of Joel, we see the sun turning to sackcloth and the moon to blood in the context of God judging all nations who are trying to divide His land Israel. These four blood moons could be warning signals to Israel not to divide its land – and warning to the nations not to pressure Isael to give up land.
Please understand, I am not predicting or prophesying that there will be certain events at the time of the blood moons. All I am saying is the heavenly alarm bells are getting ready to sound. Let’s get on God’s calendar, seek Him and watch and pray so that we do not miss our appointment with destiny!

El Shaddai Ministries Newsletter / February 2015
Greetings one and all!
Here we are propelling forward into 2015! March is marching toward us with March 20th being the first Nisan beginning the biblical religious calendar year. This will be kicked off with the total solar eclipse over North Europe, Africa and Asia.
Happening on this day is very significant. This is the day of the Grand Opening ceremony of Moses Tabernacle. It is the day the fire fell from heaven and lit the sacrifice on the altar for the very first time. It is the day Nadab and Abihu were killed by fire from heaven for offering strange fire.
This is followed 2 weeks later with the third Blood Moon on Passover April 4th. A blood moon occuring the same night as the death of the firstborn around 3,500 years ago. It will be seen in the Americas, Australia, Asia and the Pacific.
When we see what has happened so far since the first blood moon we need to be watching and praying for sure! We have the Israël elections coming where God will put His man in power at the most strategic time in human history.
What with Iran racing for nuclear weapons to destroy Israël and all the chaos in the Middle East from ISIS to Boko Haram to the Ukraine, Syrië, Hezbollah and Al Qaida to the economy, ebloa, need I say more? If you go to our website you will see the Blood Moons Movie coming out for a one time showing on March 23rd … … … …

LAST DAYS? HEAVENLY SIGNS ABOUND DURING NETANYAHU (Purim) SPEECH
Religious leaders are warning that the Unites States is nearing a day of judgment based on its treatment of the nation of Israel.
What’s more, they say, signs in the heavens are coinciding with what is shaping up to be an unexpectedly controversial address by Israeli Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu on March 3 and a fiercely contested Israeli elections week later.
Pastor Mark Biltz of El Shaddai Ministries warns that “our nation will be judged” based on whether the United States sides with or against the Jewish State. Biltz believes signs in the heaven and correlations with feast days on the biblical calendar show such a judgment may be coming soon.
“When Netanyahu speaks before Congress on March 3, this is the day before the Feast of Esther when the enemies of Israel, specifically Persia/Iran, had planned to destroy the nation of Israel”, he said. “The next day is Purim, which celebrates the day Israel achieved victory over Iran. The timing significance of this is just as important as the timing of the blood moon”.
Biltz, author of “Blood Moons: Decoding the Imminent Heavenly Signs”, warns that the next blood moon is scheduled to appear over Passover, which begins April 3 just one month after Netanyahu’s speech.
And this will be preceded two weeks earlier by a total solar eclipse on March 20, three days after the Israeli election, and coincides with Nisan, the beginning of the New Year according to the Biblical calendar.
Total eclipses don’t take place on any other planet, point out intelligent-design scientist. They only take place on Earth, the finely tuned planet where life exists that can actually view them. Biltz points out that the Bible says in Genesis that the sun, moon and stars were created specifically as signs for mankind, so His creation would know about the feast (or appointed times) to have relationship with their Creator.
